Is there any reliable alternative to Homserve for external pipes and drains only.

Anglian Water keep trying to push their insurance on me. There has never been a problem with the pipes or drains in this property in all the time that it has been in the family (best part of 50 years) that I couldn't fix. Had a blocked drain at Christmas, but was easily fixed with a set of rods and a clothes peg.
My view is these insurance policies are a waste of money - The annual premiums are better saved in an emergency fund account, preferably one that pays interest.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
