I have a Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 locked to Vodafone which was Talktalk carrier.
Talktalk promise to get the unlock code for you and states that if Vodafone needs to get this from the manufacturer it can take up to 10 working days.

I first requested the NUP from TT on 30 August, since then I was abroad for 2 weeks.
On 7 and 28 September I was told the NUP had been requested from manufacturer and it would take 10 working days, 30 working days later still no NUP.
I am going to complain to them in writing? They basically failed to keep a promise and now I have a useless mobile.
Are Talktalk in breach of contract? Thanks for your help.

Not worth worrying about
its only £1.29 on ebay
I used this seller

Thanks, I didn't know you can buy unlock codes on ebay, I thought the code was exclusive to your phone, hence the IMEI number.
I am not sure this will work with my phone, I can't get it wrong because I only have 2 attempts at entering the right code.
The Build number of my phone is:
VDF-995NB02-UK10d
so the bit at the end after NB0 is different, besides, mine is not a ZTE Blade S6 V995N, just plane Vodafone Smart Ultra.
But then I am clueless about these things

It is and you will need to provide your IMEI to the unlocker via a personal message when you purchase the unlock code.
I unlocked a VF Smart Ultra 6 via an Ebay unlocker a couple of years ago without issue.0
