Dodgy iPhone Plug
Comments
-
We recently bought our daughter an iPhone from CEX.
Two days after purchase the phone was charging, it had been for less than an hour and the plug exploded.
It tripped the switch for all downstairs sockets, there was no other damage other than easily wiped off burn marks and our beating hearts.
We had a friend check the socket was safe to use.
Should we ask for any sort of compensation or just a new plug?
What's the going rate for easily wiped off burn marks and your beating hearts?0 -
There are a lot of fake chargers and batteries around that go very hot very quickly when charging.0

Fake Apple chargers look just like the genuine ones, so don't assume it isn't fake.0

It will be a fake and a really good fake to have done what it did.0

My hearts very precious to me Potbelly 😏
We opted for a plug exchange which is all we really expected and we're happy with it...0
