I have a remote hearing on the 7th and would like to know what i need to do at hearing. I've received their witness statement which contains many contradictions:
I understand In the hearing we will be, explaining our version of events to the Judge
    • Do i address the Judge as "Your Honour" or "Sir/Madam"?
    • Do i go through their witness statement and point out all the issues with it?
    • Can i ask their representative questions?
    • Can i object to any other legal representative being present? (i'm tired of the squad of solicitors I've dealt with at GS.)

One hopes this was meant in jest. 🙄 (Judges in the county court hearing small claims in the fast track are not Lord/Lady Justices)

    Sir/Madam is perfectly fine. :)

    • Do i address the Judge as "Your Honour" or "Sir/Madam"?  Sir or Madam.
    • Do i go through their witness statement and point out all the issues with it?  Yes, but mainly go through your own WS and evidence.
    • Can i ask their representative questions? Not unless the witness is from the parking firm.  If it's a legal rep then they can't be cross-examined.
    • Can i object to any other legal representative being present? (I'm tired of the squad of solicitors I've dealt with at GS.)  Not worth objecting.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
