U Fit Sash Windows

We ordered a large sash window from “U Fit Sash Windows”. They appeared to have been operating for a few years and their ratings, reviews, website all seemed promising.

The window arrived with a few design mistakes but they said fit it anyway, and we will send the replacement sashes to fit it. 6 weeks later.... no replacements.

They ignore our emails and when I phone I just get “don’t worry, they are on their way”. I ask them to send the emails they refer to from the supplier for our peace of mind but they do not come. I’m growing ever concerned I’m being mugged off and the mistake was theirs, not the suppliers... and hence they have no intention of re-ordering and facing the associated costs.

I paid via a bank transfer from a Santander account. I dont know what rights I really have

Any advice on what to do?

Why would you pay anyone by bank transfer?

You can take them to court. Google the company details and address. You can see the van moving off the drive
