Thank you KeithP, that is useful advice. I do feel as though they are putting on the pressure unnecessarily.0

I have looked, extensively, and will look again but have to admit that I often struggle to find the posts referred to, and then there is so much information covering various scenarios that I find it incredibly confusing.
However, I appreciate that you must be inundated with frustrating enquiries from the likes of me so thank you for the help and advice so far.
read the advice in this thread, especially post #8 (mine)
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5960676/county-court-claim
that is the type of advice we give for these court cases, YOU do what KeithP says like the AOS, YOU read the example defences like the ones by member BARGEPOLE, YOU draft your own defence and post it below for critique
at that point people may help you formulate and hone it to suit, but not before (so time and time again we point people at post #2 of that NEWBIES thread)
of course it is complicated, its a vast subject with various aspects to consider, its legal jargon, its about complicated legal matters, and most cases are different , so its like you asking Darwen about the theory of evolution, or asking brian cox about the universe, they cannot give you an A4 sheet that covers everything you may need to know
and do this on a laptop, not a phone

I find it incredibly confusing.
Bargepole's examples of concise defences (linked in the NEWBIES thread, right there for you) are the easiest thing in the world, even for someone who has never written one before.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

GREAT JOY !!!
I have received Britannia Parking's response to my SAR, including an email which says the following ...
"Please find enclosed your SAR request.
Britannia Parking have amended their processes in line with current BPA guidelines, furthermore on review of the Parking Charge Notice I can confirm we have decided to no longer continue with our legal case.
We have instructed BW Legal to close the claim."
A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT0 -
That's the 3rd one that Britannia have discontinued when flushed out by a SAR!
Wonderful news. Another one bites the dust! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
