What was your previous handle? I may have told you to grow up before. Quit the attitude.
Wind your neck in, you don't tow. Can't imagine what I would have told you previously.

Snark aside it does matter to an extend. Do they need the full 3500kg? Is it towing often? Off-road?
Doesn't if towing the full 3.5t. From the OP they appear not to need it. All the 4x4 pickups will be ok to tow off road. However all these vehicles that are leafers aren't great for towing caravans, not sure which has coils, not something I've ever needed to check. Also a whole range of soft roaders become possibilities when towing caravans.
  • First question is do you really need a pick up? Second is single or twin cab?

I have a Jeep Commander for towing and once I get to 2.5 tonnes the mpg is eye watering (poor at the best of times) but it can tow, drives well, good Mercedes engine and probably as cheap as chips these days!

If the towing vehicle doesn't have a bit of weight you need to ask who is towing who in tricky situations. You need mass and grunt.

In my youth I had a nasty accident and got three points on my licence for not appreciating that fact.
