Horizon Parking - Sainsburys

Hi, My son received a parking charge notice dated 4 October 2018 for an alleged incident that was on 30 September while in a Sainsburys car park.

The main sign as you enter shows large letters saying 3 hours free parking for customers which is legible when driving in.

Should he appeal and if so on what grounds?

Any advice will be appreciated

    They are rather a lot, why nor read the stickies/FAQs and see which fill the bill

    The Registered Keeper of the car should send the blue text template appeal found in post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

    Send it without change - no additions or alterations necessary.

    Send it as the keeper.

    At the same time the keeper should complain to Sainsburys - showing how they are a loyal customer and they might have to reconsider where they shop if parking is so expensive.

    What was this alleged incident?

    Parking in a bay reserved for blue cars?
    parking with the tyre valves at a position other than 12 o'clock?
    using windscreen wipers while stationary?
