What we want is our contract to start today, 10 October, as promised, not on 23 October.
We decided to change from SKY broadband and phone service because of problems with sound interference on home phone for three weeks.
Changing to Plusnet was decided on as we have used it before.
Have waited two weeks for the set up to start, on 10 October.
I recently checked their original email again and saw they write we will have a new phone number as well as new broadband.
Of course we would never have agreed to a new phone number, which they did not ask us about.
I asked via their Chat facility to keep our original number, and then have got an email saying fine and that the contract will not start until 23 October, two weeks more to wait.
We have the modem.
It is so difficult to get in touch with Plusnet,
I have tried the Chat route via their website but that does not give me contact with the Technical Team.
Have 'raised a question' on their website.
Have put a message explaining the situation, on Twitter and also Facebook.
Just got a stock acknowledgements and nothing more.
I wonder if they have any managers in their company?

I fear that if you have a line problem then this will remain no matter who the ISP is.
Whether PN are going to be better than Sky at sorting it out is anybody's guess.
And yes, this topic does need moving to the "Broadband & Internet Access" page0 -
