nPower foul up
I have a rental flat in Torquay which has nPower as the supplier. A month ago a new tenant moved in and my agent notified nPower of the meter readings.
On 28th Sept, I received an email from nPower saying:
Err... Firstly, I didn't ask to change supplier, and secondly you confirmed in a subsequent email that my tariff is variable. However looking online, my tariff is mysteriously fixed for 3 years.
I have pointed this all out ten days ago to Complaints@npower.com, but that has been ignored.
Pull your finger out, guys.
On 28th Sept, I received an email from nPower saying:
First of all, we’d like to say thanks for being an npower customer and we’re sorry to see you go.The next thing we’ll send you is a final bill. When your new supplier is ready to switch your supply over, they’ll ask you for a meter reading and they’ll send us a copy. We’ll use this meter reading to calculate your final bill.As you have left your tariff before the end of the fixed term we will be charging you an exit fee.

Let your agent sort it out!
Suppliers are allowed 8 weeks to resolve and respond to complaints, not 10 days.0 -
Could your new tenant hav3 switched supplier and you being listed as the bill payer for the interim period have receied this final bill?
If its for any more then dispute it.0
