Hello all,
I hope someone can give me advice please? I have taken a look in the newbies section. I have a ticket from one parking solution. I’ve gone through the popla appeal which has been found against me. I’ve now received a ‘letter before claim’ can I ignore this and wait for a court appearance? Or should I ring one parking solution and state that I wish to proceed straight to court? I have googled their ceo who has in fact received fines at Worthing mags ct for running a company which has been liquidated. I can’t believe these people are allowed to operate these companies I stated this to popla who are imo about as much use as a chocolate fire guard! Thanks all in advance. Jayne0 -
The letter basically says I have 14 days to pay £160 or there client shall then consider taking me to court. From Gladstone’s solicitors0

The clues are "their client shall consider" and "14 days".
A real Letter of Claim allows thirty days for a response and is past the stage of 'considering' things.
How to handle debt collectors letters is clearly spelt out in post #4 of the NEWBIES thread, but to summarise - ignore it.0 -

Who does it tell you to pay? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
