Huawei Nexus 6P battery and power problems
I bought a Huawai Nexus 6P when it was released back in September 2015. When I got the phone I loved it. I bought it SIM free from Carphone Warehouse. Proper Google experience on a well built device. After a while there was various reports of the batteries draining quickly or device shutting off early. Some people got free upgrades to Pixel device. I thought I was lucky as my Nexus worked perfectly. My Nexus was working great until a couple of months ago when the battery started to drain quicker than usually, as I've had this device for 3 years I thought it just needed a new battery. I took it to a local repair shop and they replaced the battery. Everything was good for a week and then when the battery was about 30-40% the phone just turned itself off and would not power on at all. I took it back to the local repair shop and they even sent it to a specialist to replace the 'power io' on the motherboard to try and solve the problem but they could not. I am really disappointed that I'm now left with a brick phone. I know the device is well out of warranty but this is still the known issue. I can't seem to find any contact information from Google to discuss this and I've emailed CEO of Huawei but not holding my breathe there. I was tempted to buy a Pixel device but this has really put me off them. Anyone have any other suggestions on what I can do ???

Maybe I wasn't clear but the phone won't even turn on so I can't do a factory reset0

You have had the phone repaired.
So even if it had warranty,it would be void now.
Great phone the 6p but certainly had its issues.0 -
I would not have tried to get it repaired at a local repair shop if it was under warranty0

Yup,but what are you expecting now?
You have a non OEM repair,so they wont want to touch it.
i ditched my 6P when I started seeing reports such as battery issues.
Loved the phone but didnt want to get stuck with a broken one.
Its 3 years old now,so I would accept it and replace.
I would happily go Pixel. I got a Note 8 but miss vanilla Android0
