Unregistered justmeans the land was not bought recently enough for the land registry to have a record of the actual owner.

So the contract they produce can be challenged for them to prove ownership / authority.

Perhaps a bit of a scam going on here. Which is the parking company?

And unfortunately I have no other choice and have to park closer to my home. As the other day when I left my car further up the road someone damaged my car and left some scratches on my baby All this trouble because some people feels like they are kings of the jungle and making money out of nowhere.
I dropped a nice letter to the council now and awaiting for the reply.

The company called CPM and it is registered with BPA

CPM or UKCPM. What is the company number or address. Two different organisation

Hold on I am confused now. In the letter it says UK Car Park Management and the logo is simply CPM. The address Lancing, bn15 5br. Sorry they are not with BPA but acrredited by IPC.

Very aggressive so expect a claim later. Key point is that UKCPM don't actually check who owns the land. They just have whoever hired them to say they own the land whether it is true or not.

And if the land is not registered, then you can't be certain if it is true.

Signs tend to be the way forward on these unless you are skilled at finding out who actually does own the road. See if the council will help investigate for you as they have big pockets and the skills to do it.

If it is being used as a dumping ground report it to Environmental Health who will find out who owns it or pays the Non-domestic rates as EH can back charge the cost if the owner doesn't sort it.
