In my local area the Cats Protection League have a 'lost and found' column in the local paper every week, and on their facebook page, it may be checking whether yours does, and also contacting any other local cat rescues. Smaller ones may not scan for microchips but might recognise your cat if he is found or handed to them.
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

Still nothing. His Sister went for her wormer & booster vax today & the Vet said if he's locked in and has no food/water, he'd have passed away by now. Really hoping he's one of the many who return in their own time, he's such a lovely cat with huge character

So sorry for your cat. Hopefully he will coma back home soon. Just don't stop searching and talk to people show the pics, maybe someone will recognize.
  • Oh my gosh hunni, I would seriously reconsider your vet if im honest. I have volunteered in lost and found pets and rescue in general for 30+ years and I have personally reunited AWOL cats who have been locked under floorboards for over a month. Food is not important for quite a few weeks but water is obviously. 99% of the time, a cat will find some way to get access to water, especially in a shed etc. Rather than taking over your post, I will inbox you some info. Also, if you could possibly inbox me your kittys details with a couple of posters, I willput a poster together for you and share with a huge number of contacts. I have alist of websites where I suggest to owners to post. All websites are free so no catch. xx
