Egg credit card customers and the cashback deal with Waterstones.com and others

Hello
It seems that Egg have struck up quite a few deals for their Credit Card customers, so if you're one of them it's best to be aware of what you could be getting out of your shopping!!
Waterstones.com Egg offer page

For those of you that have an Egg card - what are they like? I've never used Egg, though I've heard good things about them, and who can fault them for the ad with the Guinea Pigs? Though I swear they're Hamsters. Still, so adorable and humourous.

Back to my post: Waterstones.com is giving you Egg credit card people 10% cashback, all the way up to the 31st of December - which is pretty handy for Christmas eh?
Looking at the page, Waterstones.com seems to be pretty much the best offer.

Although, to check out the other deals for Egg credit card users, go here: http://www.egg.com/visitor/0,,3_87199--View_1858,00.html

Dude, all you have to do is sign up to their newsletters. It's really that simple.
Didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to assume? :p

I use this site for research, mostly finance and mobile phones, and the only thing valid that I ever get to put online that is of a benefit to anyone are the discounts from waterstones.
I don't spend my money in stupid high street stores, and the stores I do spend my cash on generally don't give away discounts.
    JEEZ!
So unless any of you are aware of any Forbidden Planet discounts,or that Fopp has come back from the dead (not being owned by HMV
), or that Camden town now has a newsletter for independant shops, and market traders offering 10% off... i would say..
    YOU are teh l053r!

I'm not sure what planet you are on.

You asked how the other person could make an assumption about you working for Waterstones and I explained why.

Your reply is very rude and uncalled for. Oh and spouting a load of rubbish as you did is just stupid.

It's a good point. You made an assumption and I just stated that not everyone shops on the high street.:T

You're taking this way too seriously. If you didn't, you'd be able to see it was harmless fun but you seem to have taken it personally.

It was obvious I was playing from my first reply. You're the one being rude and insulting, now also bordering on female teenage !!!!!iness with your "oh and spouting a load of rubbish". tut tut.

Well, it is funny that you didn't mention anything about the 20% discounts at other stores!

Sorry, but I'm suspicious too... maybe it's just because I've done some sneaky promotion of things on other forums in my PR/Marketing past (not here though!). But at least I mixed it up so no-one suspected!

Very sweet of you to share all the discounts, vouchers etc at Waterstones that you're somehow privvy to...

    What joke ?

Someone made a post about you working for waterstones you replied. My comment was to then explain why it is felt that way. I made no assumption at all.

I can take a joke, but you are very rude and insulting.

You are obviously an insecure person who likes to score points on the internet with your oh so clever insults.
    Nice to save.
