    Afternoon all.

Speky - so sorry to read about your gran, it's very difficult when a loved one decides it's time. She may well be speaking from her feeling really rotten phase, once the medicines kick it she'll probably look up again. My DM did all that this summer, and she's now 'back'.

My day has worn me out already. I was up and out at the first crack of shop doors opening. I wanted to see and try a leather chair in JL (the one I've got is so uncomfortable), thankfully they had one in stock. For being called a little chair it fitted my not so little physique perfectly so I indulged myself. :j it's coming in two weeks as they only go 'up country' twice a month. The chair is a darker leather than the sofas but I CBAd to wait three months for a more matching shade.

Then I went down to the lovely George Square in the brilliant but cold sunshine. I love Glasgow in sunshine, it's huge majestic buildings look wonderful against a blue sky. Anyway, time for a coffee and biscuit in V/irgin Money lounge before doing some banking business.

A little meander up Buchanan Street allowed me to window shop though nothing tempted me. Think I had done enough spending!

Now I'm gathering my strength for DM's shopping marathon tomorrow. Not sure I can drink three coffees anymore, so it'll be coffee in shop one and teas in shops two and three.

Thinking of the TAs and all the other poorlies.

    Happy rest of Friday.
  • Oh dear - what a waste of time/effort putting that washing out on the line :(. Unfortunately, Auntie Beeb got the weather forecast wrong ............... it all came back in again, wetter than it went out . Has been through 'Extra Spin Cycle' and now hanging on the airer and radiator rails.

Methinks I'd better get the Gas Fire on - even though I hate the idea of doing it :(.
