    Why not send a SAR anyway to their DPO, for all ANPR images, and an explanation of why it looks like two leaving photos. Helps you to defend later!

    Look at their PRIVACY PAGE for the Data concerns contact details, if they list this.

    They said in their email that all photographs can be viewed on their website. I logged on and checked and the only photos they have are he same as the ones in the letter (in the above link). Should I assume this is true or is it still worth requesting to see all their photographs?

    Send a SAR anyway, how many times do we have to repeat it(!) and tell you that you are not just asking 'them' and looking at the website, you are asking their DPO under a SAR. I even told you what to ask.

    now please do what CM has told you to do, she is the forum expert in these matters, so pointless asking the questions, just do as we ask and gradually learn about this sc@m industry (after all , you didnt learn to drive and pass your test overnight, so why try with this topic ? lol )

    OK, thank you for the reply. I just didn't understand what you said! I have another window open with the board's acronyms listed but most of them aren't on the list so I'm afraid I am still confused about SAR DPO and ANPR. Apologies!

    some are in post #5 of that NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, plus did you try to google them for answers ?

    SAR is listed in that thread , plus in this GDPR thread too

    DPO = Data Protection Officer

    ANPR is for obtaining number plates (VRM details), google it please

    you must have seen them using ANPR on police programmes etc ?

    But I gave you the acronyms in full in my first response.

    I even put them in italics...what more do newbies want? I said to you:
    Unless you are SURE the photos show the car leaving twice, in which case make a complaint to UKCPM's Data Protection Officer (specifically to them) about abuse of your personal data, and make it a subject access request for all photos of the comings & goings of the car that day. They have to reply within 30 days.

    OK, thanks. I've got it now. Do I have to give them any other details than simply asking for all pictures of my vehicle with registration XXXXX?
    I have found the DPO address and emailed to request all images held of my vehicle.

    A copy of your V5 to show it's your car, proving that this is your data concern.

    I told you how to find who the DPO is/or the contact details, if published, if not just send an email or letter FTAO the Data Protection Officer, headed up 'SAR'.

    :)
