  • *Bump* Anyone? :)
  • I'm going to need to send this off within the next 2-3 days everyone, if there's any changes you'd recommend I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to send this off to the court if there's anything that will go against my case :(

    Nice defence draft! :T

    I saw a typo: ''sings'' in #9.

And here the wording needed adjusting as 'brief' refers to the parking, not the residence:
Since the Defendant was a resident of the building, and the car park is directly outside the front entrance of said building, it is the Defendant’s belief that they are not liable for any penalties related to simply parking for a brief period of time to unload outside the location where they lived [STRIKE]for a brief period of time[/STRIKE].

Other than that it looks ready to sign, date, and email that signed copy to the CCBCAQ email.

    :)

  • Thank you so much! I was worried I'd be sending off a bad defence

I'll be getting this printed off, signed, and sent off now!
  • So I've now sent off the Defence and the court have confirmed to have received it!

Now I am still awaiting a response for my SAR which I sent off on the 3rd of October, I still have not received a response from them. I sent it directly to the UKPC Data Protection email, should I have sent the SAR to SCS Law instead?

They have 1 month to respond. Don't send to SCS - UKPC should have everything you need.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No, you sent it to the right place
If they dont meet the deadlines write them a letter before action, requiring they remit £250 for their breach of the DPA2018 as amended by the GDPR
  • Well isn't that some lovely news
  • Just an update, I received all the info back from the SAR I sent and have now filled out the directions questionnaire
  • Hi guys. I received a letter containing my provisional court date at the beginning of February and it's now been almost a month later and I haven't received any update in regards to a Notice of Allocation or witness statements and such. Is this normal or should I chase it up with the court?
