Marcus sort code.

Options
I'm always super careful setting up a savings account with a new bank. Have just set up a Marcus. I can't find the sort code they gave me when I Google it. I assume as it's an American bank, it won't show up as a UK sort code? But it's not showing up at all in a Google search? What sort code & account number has anyone used? Was everything ok? Thanks.

  • It is a UK registered financial institution with full FSCS protection. The SC is as Rheumatoid has stated above.

I have made transfers in and out with it and had no problems - all very speedy in fact.

Try the attached link with the code that Rheumatoid has given above

I am sure also that it is on the Marcu UK website and their online banking page.

It is the UK sort code of Goldman Sachs International Bank in Fleet Street in London.

    Never assume. :)

Re-read the OP. They have the sort code but decided to Google it and couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.

Never Google bank phone numbers or account details to verify them. Scammers put fake details on the web and try and get them highly ranked in Google.

Thank you, Jamei305. That's good advice.
