If you have manually downloaded the Windows 10 October 2018 Update installation media, please don’t install it and wait until new media is available.

My i3 laptop runs 1803 reasonably fine.
Though I only iuse MS office and browsing.
Just beginning to get into Plex Server to Apple 4k t.v. Plex media libary.
And my laptop has basic pre installed 4 GB ram -though funny it runs @+90% if any programmes running at all -room for upgrades next year or two.

thank you. i installed on 2 october ish on one pc with no problems and been waiting to update other devices

My advice to everybody is backup before installing this Windows 10 update. Microsoft's not so distant history hasn't exactly been good and it certainly shouldn't win them any prizes.

I used the Update Assistant last night to apply 1809 to my laptop.
