    Good morning folks.

After the dreadful rain yesterday it's now dry outside but there's very high winds. The rose bushes at the front door are looking very sorry indeed.

Last night I lit the woodburner for the first time since probably March, I ended up far too warm but enjoyed watching it. :rotfl:

This morning I'm doing a volunteer driving run, it's just a local run so it won't take up too much time. There's the monthly banking to do and loads of marking.

Thoughts to all those here who are poorly or looking after poorly loved ones.

    Happy Tuesday.

    Morning everyone,

Grey and drizzly here today so any washing I do will have to go on the airers. I achieved a lot housework wise yesterday so have decided to go and do a stock shop this morning. As it’s the start of a new month I have a couple of hours accounts work to do for my client so need to crack on with that as well.
My DOH has a second interview for a job he really wants this afternoon, positive thoughts would be very much appreciated.
Thinking of the TA’s and all poorlies especially AOD.

Have a good day folks x

  • Morning ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) if you need one, as always thoughts with the TA's.

Grey morning and quite chilly, the sun is trying to break through. The heating was on first thing but is off now, it will go back on again to warm the bedroom tonight. I need to clean out the fire and reset it. I will light it when we get back from the hairdressers this afternoon.

The cleaners are here for their last clean today, no idea what time they are coming, I am going to email the boss after they have been and terminate the contract.

First bill from the new carers this morning, much better than the rate the council wanted to charge me.

Gardener is also due today, the grass needs cutting and there is weeding to do especially on the front. I always think a tidy front gives a house kerb appeal.

Bacon frittata and salad for supper tonight. No idea whats for sweet, last night we had orange drizzle cake with cream, maybe the same tonight.

    Good Morning all,

Thinking of the TA’s and all those who are struggling.

Had a quiet weekend with watching the golf, now need to catch up with getting the home back in order. Made a start, but having a rest while on my first coffee of the day.

My sister is visiting my parents this afternoon so will pop up and visit. I am fortunate in that I only live a five minute walk from my parents. We purposely moved closer when they became more frail.

Not much else happening, I need to make time this week to work on the budget and meal plan. I am going to use up my freezer stock as much as possible this month so I can defrost the freezer ready for December.

    Take care all.

Hi everyone, I intended to be outside doing a few minutes in the garden for 11:00, but I am still here in my dressing gown, will get a shift on. Grey with the chance of rain. OH out cycling. Meal plan done and gammon joint cooked so some progress made.

Hugs and caring thoughts to all that need them today, and good vibes for Mr Lainey's interview. AOD - I think your lurgy may have wafted itself along here, froggy throat and a bit of a cough have developed overnight. Very best wished to TA and family and taff sorry that you are feeling so grim.

Welcome back NMLC, hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Hope everyone is having a goodish day, healing thoughts go to the cold and general lurgy sufferers, and the TA's of course

    Take care folks
