Received DRP letter demanding payment but had no ticket in the first place?!?

Sorry I know that there potentially is an answer already posted in the frequently mentioned ‘newbie FAQ’ but I don’t know how to find or access that thread?

I received a letter from DRP demanding £160 for a parking charge, except I never received a ticket in the first place? In fact there was no correspondence until this letter. Obviously I can’t prove I never had a ticket so what do I do? How can I appeal when the time for appeal has already elapsed? Do I just pay? I have until the 3rd of October to respond 😬

Yes you do.

No link, as you already had the thread you needed, back where you clicked 'NEW THREAD'.

Click the 'back' button 2 or 3 times and see the NEWBIES thread and read that. It's at the top of the forum.

NO LINK NEEDED, YOU HAVE A 'BREADCRUMB TRAIL' LINK ON THIS PAGE ALREADY.

My signature also tells you that there is a little link back along the top of this page too, you can use that rather than your PC's 'back' button.

Not "potentially" - DRP is completely covered by post four of the Newbies Sticky. Please go and read it - NOW!

And just to remind you, you clearly confirmed that you had read and understood the posting/board basics as part of your signup, so claiming otherwise is difficult.

See all the linked threads, and tell Steve you know you are one of at least half a dozen others exposed in threads on MSE (give him all six URL links I gave you, then your own URL from the top of this page) and tell him you, and we regulars, are horrified that Smart have not been sanctioned and stopped yet.

Show him how bad this has become, and bear in mind that MOST victims do not come on MSE this must be the tip of the iceberg and completely unacceptable from Smart.
