I trust BH even if he's from Manchester..
all your base are belong to us :eek:0 -
The phone i'll be after when I upgrade is the Sony Ericsson K850i.

It's got the best camera on the market right now and is smaller than the Nokia N95
What sort of features will you be after?0 -
any camera above 3 megapixel will be hard to tell the difference between (i have a 9mp camera and i just use it at 3 to keep the file size low and can still blow the pics up to a4 size)things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then

What Before Hollywood says is true, I often have to send photos to my friends via picture message rather than bluetooth them even if we're together as it gives you the option to downsize the image files if you send it through text.
For this reason make sure MMS are inclusive in your text allowance
I keep my current phone (SE K800i) at it's highest resolution though so I can have good quality images when I upload them to my computer as wallpapers etc

I recently went for the K850i. It was back in the packaging ready to be sent back within 20 mins.
The screen is off-white and far duller than any other phone I have ever seen.
The camera pics are discernably no better than my K800i and when viewed on the handset actually show some artifacting of the jpeg.
The phone is slo but once you play an mp3 it's gui becomes very slo and laggy.
The phone feels cheap, too light, it's too bulky and worst of all it's made pretty much entirely of this cheap sheen plastic that has it covered with smudges and fingerprints in minutes - I can't stress this enough you will NEVER want to show this to anyone as it makes the phone look terrible.
The keyboard is not pleasant to use and texting is made all the more difficult because of the rocker type embedded direction buttons. Also you will constantly press the touch screen buttons at the top by accident.
Ihave a K800i and I love SE phones but the K800i is miles apart in build quality (it's a great phone) and speed of gui etc - it's amazing to see SE drop the ball so badly with the K850i0 -
I love these threads where people ask what phone they should get when upgrading, but do not bother to put the choice of phones available.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0
