And that's why your here so people, very experienced people can GIVE!! you the clues.

Please don't worry about powerless sewer rat debt collectors, they cant do anything apart from send you paper with big scary red writing on which you then read, laugh and file.

Getting a PCN and fighting back is a process, a step by step process that if you follow the advice give freely on here you really cant go wrong.

I am still dealing with my PCN 7 months on, I've had all the scary debt letters they all came exactly as the regulars told me they would, I'm still in the ignore stage until they send me a LBA/LBCCC and I patiently read many threads on here and sometimes post a little advice to others on what steps to take, it's all a big game and one that although I'd prefer not to be in it I am in it and I'll play it the best way I can.

Yes it is such a pain and hard to know if you're doing the right thing and mine has only been 3 months! I will carry on reading through threads to gain some information.
Thank you very much for your reply :)

A subject access request to Britannia should give you this information, short of Britannia's incompetence as I've been finding out on a regular basis and the delays that result.

I've since found out their data protection email address is dpt@britpark.com as contained in their well hidden privacy policy on their site.

Slightly modify it to include two things. ANPR data they've captured and pay and display records they should hold. If you have any payment receipts/references.....you mention proof of getting money out.....what is exactly meant by this (I assume getting cash out)? was a ticket/receipt generated that you still have from the payment?

Just to point out to the OP that the example is a good one for a 'SAR', but I've suggested a different thing, a 'Rectification Notice' (also under the GDPR).

You could do both, as the privacy team has to deal with both, but head them up clearly so the rectification notice can't be mistaken.
I've since found out their data protection email address is bpt@britpark.com (bpt NOT dpt) as contained in their well hidden privacy policy on their site.
That's good to know, thanks LoneStarState.

Agreed that the rectification notice probably takes priority. Especially when Britannia's privacy policy states they will hold personal data for SEVEN YEARS after the contractual "relationship has ended". Wouldn't want them holding incorrect data that long now would we (pretty sure the ICO wouldn't either :))?

Wow, well spotted, that is far far too long and will be part of the OP's ICO complaint when B are useless and refuse the RN.

At school where I work, we don't even keep data for seven years!
