hi i need advice i am doing this on behalf of mu mum ...
my mum ordered an item for me (oculus rift headset) and used her Argos card to pay for it Argos said that another delivery company yodel would be delivering it on 27th September
at 1230 i had a notification that the item was delivered but when i asked mum nobody has been to her door
i rang Argos about this a few times and in the end they say that yodel interviewed the driver he says that he delivered to my mum and they had a signature i tried countless times to tell them my mum has not received it but they say u must have it we have been told it was signed for
i tried to open a dispute with Argos card services but apparently i have to take independent legal advice and they cant help me further...
as a foot note when i spoke to the 1st Argos customer rep he says that the driver discribes my mum as being in her 40s bit strange as im her son and im 49 she is a very frail 72 year old
to me it looks like the driver has kept this item but Argos wont do anything about it and of course this is very worrying for my mum as it cost£400
any help/advice would be great
thanks in advance
Jason

Actually the LBA can't come from you, your mother used HER card therefore any action needs to be taken by your mother.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. no other addresses it has our surname in the signature so he/she say they deffo came to her house i will do it all for my mum all ill get her to do is sign and if i also ask that in the letter i deal with it will that be sufficient my mum is 72 can just about walk to her front door so would find it difficult to attend a court hearing ....
i find it disgusting that we have no other means to sort this these delivery drivers must be laughing that they can just sign saying it was delivered and then we have to go through all this to try and prove otherwise0 -

There is also vehicle tracking and quite often they take photos when they are at the property, it isnt just based on the drivers word. Its also unlikely they would risk their job over a gadget.0 -
