Good afternoon,
Finished knitting the baby blanket for my great great nephew, ends tidied away but have decided to embroider two of his four initials on itThen an initial wash & dry. Will be parcelled up & posted by the end of the week. Sorted my menu plan - finally
Then headed off to the sm with my list. Sm wasn’t busy - just how I like it :rotfl:
Home & unpacked & put away. Tonight is quick & simple - battered fish for DSis, fishcakes for DH & I, with oven chips & peas.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday if at all possible.

Hi everyone
Just to say thanks for all the congratulations for my youngest DD and myself...she went out and bought a couple of pretty little dresses in a sale today.
Eldest DD started her new job today so I'm waiting for a phone call....hoping it went well.0 -
Hi chums, busy day today got my first shop of the month this morning first thing, and only spent £30.96 hopefully that should see me through for at least 10-12 days .
DGS Ben sadly didn't get his job but the firm took their time notifying him he got a text tonight after biting is nails since his second interview on Friday. He was disappointed, but is looking on it as good experience for interviews
He has applied online for 30 plus other jobs and has even sent off an application for temporary Christmas mail delivery for the GPO, he has 12 GCSE's four 'A' levels and a 2.1 degree in English Lit. Bless him he is doing his best to find work. Luckily he lives at home so has no rent to pay or food but being broke is quite depressing for him.
My friend arrived around 10.30 and we had a great day knitting and nattering and a nice lunch as well.
Last Saturday when I went out Bexley to visit my DDs ma-in-law Margaret, we went to Bexleyheath and got some Christmas presents and had lunch in a great little restaurant called The Giggling Sausage, spotlessly clean, great service, and bangers, egg and chips (triple fried )bread and butter and a huge cuppa cost for the two of us £10.00 which we thought was brilliant and very good value, couldn't finish the chips off as we were so full. good plain old fashioned food at a reasonable price served up by a very handsome young turkish chap who was so polite and friendly and really looked after us two old dears :)So nice to be smiled at pleasantly instead of a surly grunt
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mrs TA ,we went through the hospice system with DDs ma-in-law in January with our brave fighting Frank bless him and the hospice was amazingly helpful and kind to his wife Margaret and the family.
Tomorrow is U3A coffee morning so I will see some more of my friends there and in the evening its quiz night so no cooking at home for me:)
Right I'm off up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire for a read
Good Night God bless all here
