    At some point you're going to need to see your doctor - they won't keep giving prescriptions without doing a review. Might be worth considering how that's going to happen now, rather than when your repeat is refused just as you need it.

    Other than checking for wheelchair taxis (Council couid probably tell you as they licence them) are there any dial a ride type services round your way?

    My doctor keeps me updated on my prescriptions because my dialysis team request them as part of my treatment for kidney failure so I’ve never had to see him about it, but yeah I never thought of asking the council I will do that thank you and no there isn’t any dial a ride type service round my area from what’s I know

    It is probably a good idea to contact the CHDAU to make sure that the facilities at the assessment centre allocated to you are suitable for you. Some centres do not have access for wheelchair users.

    So telephone them to tell them you are a wheelchair user. You can also ask them about your difficulties with getting suitable transport if you are unable to find any.
