hugs. talking is good, so if you want to post about things, that will help to make you feel better, please do. I think we have all been there or know someone who has, it is very hard. xxI second this. Was going to post something similar myself, but wasn't sure how to word it! I probably come across quite happy and positive on here, but the black dog tends to follow me around and I'm more than happy to listen if anyone's feeling down or needs a bit of support.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, I know that "talking" is the thing to do but for me it is something I really, really struggle with and tend to "shut down" , a song on the radio today had me in tears and shaming myself for the way I feelGoodreads 2025 Challenge :16/75

Woop woop! Just won £10 on lucky patches!! :j
Bit late with my 5 day update, but since 20th I've earned £38.91 through surveys, caahbaxk, etc and £73.64 through micro-jobs. That puts me on £872.21 for the month, or £116.65/£155 for my total without micro-jobs.0 -

I can understand that and I think it’s quite common to struggle to talk when you are feeling so low. It can be easier to ‘talk’ on something like this forum as it isn’t face to face and we don’t actually know each other personally so please drop in for a chat about anything.
And there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed at for crying over a song on the radio. It’s often silly little things that tip us over the edge and I cry at stuff like that all the time, even when I’m not feeling low :rotfl:£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40

shariann, big congratulations on the job promotion.:T:j:beer:. I hope you enjoy your well-deserved half-term break.
ziggy, as a fellow sufferer (although thankfully not for a while now) I can truly empathise with what you're going through. I'm sending hugs and hopes that you'll begin to feel better very soon. Take care of yourself:kisses3:
Kantankrus, sorry to hear of the delays to your Dad's operation and the anxiety and upset it must have caused for you all. Sending my very best wishes that it actually happens this time and that the outcome is a really good one:kisses3:
Everyone, well done on some brilliant results so far this month:T:j. If anyone's still striving to reach their targets there's still a few days left to squeeze a bit more out of October. Don't feel bad if you didn't quite get there, feel proud that you've made lots of money that you didn't have before:beer:0 -
Thank you both. It was really nerve wracking but I got the job :j Have a week off now for half term and start the new job the following Monday

Well done Shariann and big hugs to you Ziggy - so many of us can empathise xxx
I'm up to £362 this month.
It's made up of £138 unexpected refund then:
Mystery shopping - £60-ish
Bulb referral £50
Ebay selling
Facebook selling
Top Cashback £40.30
Tiny bit of bank interest and cashback
I have 29p from Qmee searches
I'm on £6 with QuickThoughts surveys
Always forget it's there when I am by or in a supermarket!
My target has been £200 for a couple of months which I thought I would possibly not be able to get but I am very pleased!
Top Cashback has been through insurance and utilities switching and I have added more by choosing a restaurant gift card. I am planning on using this with cinema tickets I have been given as part of my bank account, so that could be a good and largely free night out!
The Bulb referral is a second one and I have just had notification of another one for next month - I haven't posted on the referrals board here as other posters are offering more than £50 in their referral links! But I'm very pleased that I will have had £150 in 3 months!0 -
I've just gone on TopCashback and have seen that substantial cashback of £85 from switching broadband providers back at the beginning of August is finally tracking. It should have been £89 but after this long I'm not going to argue! I'm going to wait for it to be payable before I count it, just happy it's finally showing, especially as it's what kickstarted my extra earning resolve!
