That is sometimes Network dependent if it's not listed on your network's website under voicemail settings you're best contacting them.0

All settings were investigated, and there was no option to extend duration. So we googled and readly saw, umpteen variations of this question from many people.
There was a route to extend, which was something along the lines of double hashtag 123456789 doubly hashtag XXXX (enter secs) then umpteen other hashtags etc, eventually we reached the maximum number of seconds, 20, when previously it was 5 secs.
Having settled for that, another anomaly was that, after each attempt to extend ring times, the tune changed. Googled tht, and found others had experienced the same. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I guess you mean the number of rings before voicemail kicks in? Is this with Vodafone? A friend is with them and his goes to V/M after 4 rings... you would expect Voda to know how to set up a network, but there again, perhaps not.
Ask your network about the problem.0 -

You can change how long your Vodafone mobile rings for, from 5 to 30 seconds, in 5-second intervals (default is 15 seconds).
To choose your desired ringing time:
Enter **61*121*11* on your Vodafone mobile
Choose the number of seconds you’d like your phone to ring for, followed by #
Press Call
You’ll receive a confirmation message with your new ring time
For example, if you want to set your Vodafone mobile to ring for 25 seconds, you enter **61*121*11*25#, and press Call.0 -

Ask your network about the problem.
yes, it went to VM after four rings. I defy anyone to be able to respond that quickly, unless you are one of those people that walk with arm extended gazing constantly at the screen. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
