That at least gives you an extra fourteen days to produce a Defence or decide not to bother.

You don't have to THINK of one, and you are the same as at least HALF the defendant who win (many do not have any memory of the place, might not ever have been there, and not kept any letters).

They still win, you are NOT unique, your case is the same as all the others.

You would be DAFT to pay the sum on the claim form! Even if people lose here (about 1% lose) they pay LESS than the amount you are thinking of just paying.

Why would you do that? Madness. You only have to read a few and copy a defence, and send the PPC a SAR to get copies of all letters in time for the later stages, so you will have some clarity before the hearing.

Could be an issue if the OP has not clarified the particulars. After all this is OPM you are dealing with here. It also helps reduces the likelihood of a judge taking a view on the honesty of the OP if a defence does not answer the question posed by the C.

@Anastasiya27. What do the particulars say as that will help narrow the choice at least. Can you reproduce them with the dates left off?

On the paperwork from Northampton business centre, you should have received "Particulars of Claim" or it might say "to follow". That is what is being referred to in post #25

At least follow up the advice in #4 and edit out details of who was driving and the repeated advice given re AOS!

Thank you everyone, I will add more information from particulars part tonight. I just not sure how to write a defence even after reading examples.
Also how much facts can I put in this thread? Some say don’t disclose details so I won’t get identified but I want to write the whole situation out to get a better advice.
