What size hob do i need for the cutout?

If fitting a gas hob its not just the aperture you need to think of. It's also:
1. Clearance from units at either side.
2. Clearance at back.
3. Height of any extractor above hob.
4. Total kW loading of gas appliances versus size of gas piping.
You can't connect a gas hob yourself unless your are Gas Safe Registered. No engineer worth his or her salt will connect your hob unless all conditions / regulations are satisfied.0
