After following you advised and ringing the Metrocentre the colleague has told me that this happens all the time and that the only reason The car will have been targeted is because it was parked 15 minutes before the shops open!

The colleague has proposed to ring UKPC first thing on Monday morning and that this will be cancelled off when the situation is explained?

NONONONONONO...and more NO. NEVER ring a parking firm like UKPC!

Unless the MetroCentre are saying they will ring and they will say this wasn't a staff member, and THEY will insist that the PCN is cancelled, then that would be OK.

But not the driver ringing up UKPC, eeek no.

Why are we going round in circles, the NEWBIES thread is clear what to do (template appeal as keeper), and when (day 26) and how (online, NOT ticking 'driver').

No need for any posts re a windscreen PCN from UKPC, there is a method in the NEWBIES thread already.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I took a photo of the sign and there is nothing at all that states there is a time limit or time frame for parking, the Metrocentre staff member said that I should ring and that they can not inforce “staff in none staff parking” because there is no eveidence if anyone being staff at any given point. Then told me that they would cancel the fine, she also said that this is happening all the time at the minute so this isn’t the only case!

do NOT ring the parking company

the Metrocentre staff member should ring the parking company and cancel the pcn

if they fail to do so by day 24 , submit the template to the parking company, as keeper

NEVER ring a parking company, or a debt collector
