how was I too know she'd suddenly reverse down the road that's an illogical move in a populated area like
    to*

Was this in a car park? If so that's how you should have known, people reverse in them all the time.
  • It seems to me your all very presuming on here and aren't reading this correctly or you don't know how car parks work she drove past my bay when she was clear of my bay I pulled out there were no other bays so why would she be reversing if she wasn't going to reverse down the length of a road, she went past me once she was clear and I'd made sure there were nothing else coming I began my pullout within maybe a second or two she'd decided to reverse back down the road in the direction she had just driven up without looking or she would have seen I was behind her Evan if I wasn't in a bay and I was just behind her on the road she would have hit me if I was crossing the road she would have hit me and as I pulled out the bay after seeing her drive past she hit me nothing to do with not looking it's a case of I looked it was clear I pulled out then she reversed without warning and into me I didn't Evan have time to hit the horn
  • Yeah people reverse in car parks to park not to reverse down the length of a road with no bays in it that's were the fault is if there was a bay it makes sense there were at least 7 cars and a shopping trolley station between where she was and any sort of bay

    well why didnt he then?
  • Right then James so next time your in a car park by your logic when your half way out of your space it perfectly acceptable for me to reverse through your car into the space without looking behinf me and that's 50/50 good to know

as I was pulling forward she then reversed directly into me
I was stationary as she hit me
You seem to have made two contradictory statements here. The first was your original description and it looks as though once you've been told that if you were stationary she might be to blame, you're now claiming you were stationary.

It's all muddled and I am certain this will go 50:50 if the other party is disputing it and you have no independent witnesses. You can argue with me and others on here all you like, it won't make a jot of difference to your insurer, or to the third party's insurer. It's not us you need to convince.

    Evan.
