Hi,
2 Years ago i received a parking fine for not parking within the lines. i had a valid parking ticket to stay on this carpark.
I appealed against this which was denied.
On the appeal i noted that i did park within the lines and that i did have a valid parking ticket.. the evidence given showed my car parked close to the line on the RHS front of the vehicle on 3 pictures..
On the 4th picture it showed my vehicle over the line.. i stated that the parking attendant has angled the camera to make it look like the vehicle was over the line. (in a hatched box in the corner of the carpark).
i then set on ignoring this company.. they have constantly bombarded me with emails demanding money which i.. it then got passed onto BW Legal Services LTD who did exactly the same.
They then resorted to ringing my landline which i have never given them.. infact my landline is ex directory so how have they got this??
Today i have received a claim form from Northampton bulk centre. I have submitted AOS to get the extra 14 days.
I will wish to defend this but not quite sure how i should word my defence..
is anyone able to advise ?
Regards.

First thing you must do NOW is edit your post and remove
all reference to a driver.
The only info BWL have is of the the keeper so keep it
that way.
Then, read through the Newbies thread and come back
to this thread with questions.
Are you saying that the warden deliberately angled
the picture to deceive you ?0 -
THE word "I" replace it with the keeper0

Also look at the example defences linked in the NEWBIES thread, loads of them, longer ones by (non-legally qualified) me and shorter ones by (legally qualified) bargepole, among others.
Should be easy enough if you use a concise bargepole defence as a base, then change the 'facts' and argument and parking firm. Show us!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

is the claim form in your name ? or the keepers name ? (not you)
I seem to remember this thread stating that the KEEPER received the claim form and that you are not that person
if so, this has nothing to do with you as it is the keeper being taken to court
please clarify if it is in your name, or not in your name ?0 -
Indeed the parking charge is in my wifes name but i was the driver at the time dropping off her elderly gran.0

the person named on the court claim has to defend it, as keeper , in her name
its got nothing to do with YOU, although you can assist the keeper0 -
