Florida 2 centre

Has anyone had any experience of booking this and would you recommend a package or separate bookings to get the best price? Recommendations for areas/hotels gratefully received for a first-time visitor next year!

  • I book separately but have been a number of times so I'm comfortable with where to book, this year I booked a part package so got flights, car and Disney hotel for a few nights, but have booked the main accommodation on its own. Have you checked thediibb.co.uk? There's loads of useful info there and there may me more experienced people to advise. Happy planning :j

Book your own flight, your own car and choose hotels near to where you want to visit.

Unless you pay mega-bucks most Orlando hotels are a bit crap but you won't be spending long there so no worries.

    Simples.

You haven't said the two centres. We are doing Orlando & Barbados next summer.

So far all flights & hire car booked
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

Has to be said that Florida is great for a road trip. We did two weeks starting in Miami. Saw the Everglades, the Keys, did Disney and Universal in Orlando and still had time for a lot of Manatee watching.

Would you consider this type of holiday? Call it a 14 centre holiday!

Sounds good - hadn’t thought of that! Did you self book? Or any tips on how, when, where?!

We went in January (my birthday). Booked a return flight to Miami with Virgin. A hire car with Alamo and then one night hotel (near to the Everglades).

Accommodation is plentiful in the US and so never an issue to find a place. Orlando is never ever full anyway. That way you can go where the feeling takes you.
