Northampton county court parking fine claims

Hi there
new to the forum and looking for some advise regarding a court claim letter I have received from bpa parking, wy parking enforcement
They are claiming have been receiving on the screen tickets from a place of parking by the football.
I now know after re-searching it up on this site, I was so wrong to just ignore these multiple letters I have received from them and different solicitors to pay the fine.
However I am totally not happy regarding the fines.
The court fee is for £241.91 and only for one of the tickets, but I do have 10-12 outstanding and scared if they win this one, I will have to pay them all.
Please any body able to help what to put on my defence? I have read multiple threads saying read the newbie forum, but I cant find it?
Im willing to happily pay someone to write a defence for me? I am really confused and scared regarding the claim.
Thanks a lot for any help you may provide

Could we see a pic of where you parked? Take your personal information off and use a hosting service like tinypic.comThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Yes you were wrong to ignore these invoices (not fines) but that doesn't mean you should be punished by another rip off parking scammer.
First thing for you to do, stop panicking take a breath and realise your in a game now which has been forced upon you and like any game if you want to win you need to prepare, defend and attack.
Read the newbies thread and get a feel of what this is all about, you cannot beat the scammers by moaning, ranting or bleating BUT you can beat them legally, it takes time, effort and commitment are you up for the challenge?
Listen to what the experienced posters tell you, answer their questions, follow their sound advice and maybe 6-12 months from you, you can put this all behind you and learn the valuable lesson not to park where scammers operate.0 -
The newbies FAQ thread is near the top of the forum
Concentrate on getting to grips with #2 there which covers Court claims right through from the lbcca to the hearing
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your op to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you
Now you have offered to pay for help take great care over any private message you get in response.
There are people lurking here who are not who they may claim to be.

True but lets see the background. This sending people off into the Newbies black hole without a care of the facts of the case is just plain stupid. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
What do you mean by a Court claim letter, is it an actual Claim form?a court claim letter I have received from bpa parking, wy parking enforcement.
What sort of car park and please get a photo of a sign & show us the picture.I have been receiving on the screen tickets from a place of parking by the football. I have parked here for years and then all of a sudden last year I started to get charging notices of on the window screen.
Do not even go there, we do not recommend ANY appeals firm and you would be mad not to check them on TrustPilot or ASK US FIRST. There are some shocking reviews and apparently, people being sued by one appeals firm (the firm has posted that info themselves, as if it's a boast, like it's a good thing)...you cannot expose yourself to that level of aggression.I'm willing to happily pay someone to write a defence for me?
Also do NOT reply if a poster with few posts, sends you a private message offering a company to 'help'. Curious Sue was a poster who popped up recently who posted as if she was from an appeals firm with a truly terrible TrustPilot review list.
Keep on this forum in the open and tell us if anyone does contact you, DO NOT pay anyone.
Please answer the questions above, and read the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Whatever the background the OP should not reveal their details to anyone contacting them after their offer of payment for a defence!
And you calling a fellow poster here "plain stupid" is bound to be taken badly!
No-one sent the OP to the FAQ. (Why do you call it the "black hole?)
In fact had you taken the trouble to read the thread instead of being so unnecessarily abusive you would have seen that I was answering the OPs question regarding where to find the Faq! Which no one else had done!

An apology is called for
You have assumed something that is not there. It is the action of sending people to the Newbies thread without asking for the particulars/facts (which are the key to any claim) that is stupid. There is no reference to the sender being stupid but if you want to link the two, that is your choice.
Do you still want an apology?
But rather than divert the OP, could we simply go back to asking the OP the actions they claim have led to the claim and whether they are defensible. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Of course
Your post was clearly aimed as a response to my post.
Otherwise why quote me??
And you ignore that the OP asked to be directed to the FAQ
(There is nothing stupid in newbies reading up the FAQ whatever the particulars of their case - first time recipients of a private parking invoice are generally in the dark about the game and do need an understanding initially of how to deal with them.)0 -
Hi guys
Thanks for all the replies is much appreciated.
Pictures are attached.
It is an actual claim form yes, I have called Northampton county court and they have clarified it is a legitimate claim no.
I'm ready for the fight and now a little calmer, just kinda took me by surprise initially.
Thanks alot0 -
Sorry for some reason it's not letting me post pictures as attaching links to posts is not allowed for new users?
Any way round it??
Thanks0
