Indigo Penalty - Railway carpark

I would save that for POPLA. Indigo will ignore it and send out a bland rejection.0

Surely isn't harmful to include for now?
I guess there's always the chance of them going 'oh, someone who won't be taken as a victim so easily, maybe we'll back off and cease trying to enforce something that we can't.. '
I'm still fine with submitting the usual template as well.0 -
Conversely, there's always the chance of them going 'oh, someone who is getting assistance at MSE forums... , maybe we'll back off and cease trying to enforce something that we can't.. '.0

as this was land controlled by bylaws , they can indeed call it a penalty notice0

It won't hurt to add all those changes, but in the vast majority of cases it will make no difference.
In other words, you are putting in extra effort but may gain little or nothing from it.
You would be better off in my opinion complaining to your MP, about this unregulated scam and just following the normal process outlined in the NEWBIES.
If you are going to add the extras, then complain to the BPA and DVLA that the scammers are using the term penalty and fine as can clearly be seen on their website despite it being updated four days ago.I married my cousin. Just thought I'd pop in and report another successful mission against these vicious money suckers.
We only responded a few times to the debt collectors, mostly with generic replies but we did change it up quite a bit. We dragged it out 3-4 weeks at a time in responses.
Funnily enough, no more toilet paper is coming through our door demanding us to pay up for a pretty fraudulent and unregulated scheme in private parking tickets. letters stopped after 6 months.
Naturally we wrote out to the companies requesting deletion of personal data. Only one lady responded to us stating that because the 'penalty' is still outstanding, they are 'not authorised' to delete our data.
How's about that ay?0 -
You must tell all the companies involved to erase your personal data. Use that specific word.
Tell them you will complain to the ICO if they fail to delete said data within, say 30 days.
Complain to the ICO if they refuse.
If they don't respond, send an SAR asking them to provide all personal data they hold about you.
If they still have it, say a month after your instruction to erase it, complain to the ICO.
What happened when you complained to your MP about this unregulated scam?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Thanks for the response.
In this instance we didn't contact our MP.0 -
We've had one subject access request returned. (came through today actually - money suckers working overtime at the weekend to extort the public?)
Still refusing to erase data under the basis we provide documentation that we are no longer liable for the original payment.
On that basis - what would be the statement of complaint provided to the ICO?0 -

Tell him/her how annoyed you were even to receive a PCN for such an insignificant event.
Tell him/her how much you look forward to the regulation of this industry now that the Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 is in place.
Tell him/her how much you look forward to him/her using their parliamentary influence in getting the new Code of Practice in place as soon as practicably possible.0
