It does mean that they technically have rejected the actual PPI complaint and that they are only waiting to see if you may be entitled to a Plevin award of (some) money.
I agree all the other debate about your complaint being "on hold" did not help your confusion.0 -
Sorry to jump on an old post however this is somewhat relevant.
I contacted studio a couple of years ago with a PPI complaint. I did receive some money but wasn't huge (never had that much on account)
Anyway, this week I got a letter from them referring to my initial complaint and mentioning the Plevin ruling. The letter stating that I am able to complain about this if I wish in writing or by calling them??
I've emailed a new complaint and wait to hear back. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar letter from Studio.

As you already say this is an old thread so pointless reviving - however if you’ve already received a refund of premiums then there will be no Plevin offer as this only relates to rejected complaints.0
