Running out of time for POPLA submission

Hi All,
[… loads of irrelevant stuff chopped …]
The car park is a Euro Car Parks Limited ANPR controlled ‘free’ stay jobbie with a maximum stay of 1½ hours.
In August 2018 our vehicle was photographed by the ANPR system entering and leaving over a 2 hour and 4 minute period. The driver and passenger are known to us but are not being identified.
So, I followed the guide in the Newbies thread and made the first appeal in August 2018… and the expected rejection arrived at the start of September 2018 — by email.
Do they ever take any notice of the "I won't entertain emailed responses" part of the submission?
Luckily I had routed the email address I gave them so that it would go into a mailbox and not straight to a honey-trap which is what I do with most addresses I give to this sort of place!!
In posts #24 and #25 below are my draft responses to POPLA (link to PDF version in #23) with some updates at post #30.
Kind regards,
Bob ><>

You need to read the Newbies Sticky, more carefully, right now. It walks you through the POPLA process - Submitting anything based on fact will be a complete waste of time!
Complaining strongly to the Bank would also be a very good idea right now!0 -
POPLA appeals are covered in the Newbies FAQ thread (#3)
Go there now to see examples and near templates you can adapt
(Mitigating circs are irrelevant to POPLA!)
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal identifying details
The PPCS monitor this forum and can use your posts against you
You need to edit the (irrelevant) "unique" info you have given in your post about the NTC which would allow the PPC to identify the case.0 -
Thanks Pogofish,
I have tried to work through the Newbies Sticky… but I am having difficulty following it !— I'll have to admit I have some learning difficulties, and doing the Masters has been one heck of an accomplishment, but this is making my head spin. Trying to identify which bits apply and which don't is escaping me: a mixture of dyslexia and short term memory failure is what causes the most trouble here… I try to laugh it off most of the time, but believe me, it is extremely frustrating!
Too many acronyms and abbreviations.0 -
Quentin: do you mean take the dates out?0

Maybe there is someone that can assist you go through the FAQ
Everyone new to this needs to read it a few times to "get it"
Don't expect to take it in all at once.
Do it in chunks0 -
Have you inadvertently used your real name as your forum name?
If so you need to get MSE to change it to something truly anonymous0 -
-
I use the same name everywhere… it's my name.
What is the problem with using it here? Is it frowned upon to ask for help? I'm not into this kind of shenanigans: I've always thought using pseudonyms is a strange thing to do.0 -
From what you say Mrs X was a passenger and has no possibility of being made to pay.
The PPC will only be pursuing the keeper (or the driver if they know who it was)0
