Halifax not sending credit card statements

When I phoned Halifax, they were very good and refunded the interest. But they told me that other customers had not received statements either.
Now again, I did not receive a September statement so I phoned Halifax again - who told me that they did have a problem with some statements not being sent.
I wonder how many other people have been affected, not realised and just paid the interest thinking they had overlooked it?
I don't know if it is just the Gold card (I also have a Clarity card which appears OK).

If you have a DD setup to pay either the full amount or at least the minimum then there shouldn't be a real issue with not receiving a paper statement.
Could you not access it online?0 -
Halifax card statements can be done online, they are instantly available and do not require waiting for the post which could get lost or not sent out.
As ever, do not rely on statements to pay the bill, pay by direct debit at least the minimum if not the full amount monthly and you have no issues.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I recently got a Halifax credit card, got a statement in August , and today I realised I have not had a statement for September, and checked online and it's due early next week, so quickly paid it online. I like to get a statement and don't want to set up a DD.0

You can print out the statement online if you are desperate for a paper copy for whatever reason, I think they are available even if you don't go paperless.
Any reason not to setup a direct debit given it automatically avoids any late payment issues like you'd have had if you didn't remember?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

I also have a Halifax credit card for which I had no paper statement received at all this month. I phoned them and they said it was something that a lot of people had phoned about, as there was an issue with people who were expecting statements within a certain date range. They didn't seem to have more information as to the reasons why and when they expect to be back to normal service.0

In addition to the advice given so far, it is also important to take personal responsibility for your CC spending by knowing roughly when to expect a statement and remembering that you have used it during the month.0

Is the October statement likely to come out sometimes next week? I checked online and the app and no date is given. In past months it gave a date when the next one would be coming out, this time not.
(I manually paid the September balance earlier in the month in full but made purchases since. This should not matter, right?)0 -
Still missing my September statement. Called over a week ago and they were going to send it again. Still nothing. I'm getting other post no bother.
If I hadn't checked online I'd have missed the required payment as its now past the due date.
I feel another phone call to CS coming on.0 -

1) Other post arriving doesn't mean this wasn't lost
2) Why don't you have a DD setup for at least the minimum so you don't have this issue?
3) Waiting for a postal statement to see when to pay is asking for late payment fees and black marks on your recordSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Shouldn't you just check online anyway?
By the time you've called CS you could have logged you computer on, checked the statement, made a payment, and setup a DD for the minimum payment0
