NCP Parking charge Chalfont & Latimer station

Hi
I received a parking charge today at Chalfont & Latimer station for not parking correctly within the markings of the bay space
I wasn’t parked in any restricted areas eg yellow hatchings, I was merely parked in a clear area of the car park behind where there is a few spaces to parallel park in. Technically it’s not a space but it is an empty part of the car park and like I mention not in an area restricted
Do I have any grounds to appeal?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Rachel

edit your post above and remove any hint oif who the driver was
only use the terms DRIVER and KEEPER, nothing else
windscreen ticket or postal notice ?
pictures of the signage would be good in order to answer your question0 -

The template appeal is there, and the keeper of the car - not the driver - submits it online to NCP on day 26 (reason is explained in the top sticky thread).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, in terms of the non-relevant land.
NCP don't issue penalties, so the OP will win at POPLA as lo g as they never say or imply who was driving, then copy a byelaws land POPLA appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
