BT YouView+ box on Plusnet

I am moving from BT to Plusnet. I currently subscribe to BT Sport HD on BT TV.

After I move to Plusnet, if I subscribe to BT Sport HD on Plusnet TV, will my BT YouView+ box still work?

Plusnet are saying I have to buy a YouView+ box from them but I'm trying to avoid buying another box when I already have a perfectly good one (but with a BT badge on it)!

You have to buy a box from Plusnet (that is part of their T&C's) but you can carry on using your own BT box.

I think i would try the BT box before i bought Plusnets box .

Thanks for the link. I guess I could get the cheap, basic Plusnet YouView box first and then try the BT YouView+ box. It seems worth the risk.

You can use any Youview box with whatever ISP you use. All Youview boxes run the same software which is proved by Youview, not the ISP. I have a Youview box originally supplied by TalkTalk. Since then I have had the following ISPs - Plusnet, Sky, BT - and it has been perfectly happy and kept working just fine.
