I completely get why someone might not want to tell the council if they were being harassed. Ive been there. Try being harassed by a very anti social family and have threats to burn your flat down (which the police knew about but could do nothing about) and then have to go to the housing and then name them.
Also, just because no one ever has had their benefits stopped during an investigation doesn't mean it has never happened to someone. I honestly do not see the point of people posting on here and other people lining up to call people liars
Don't do that to people on this part of the board, it is for support.
It simply does not happen - Benefits can only be suspended if there is either proof that there is no entitlement or if the customer has either failed to attend or reply to letters. Benefit is not suspended just because of an anon call.
I am constantly being called in because of annonomus allegations. They never stopped my benefits.
However it is stressful, at least I can prove the reports is bull. This is going on and on its about time that the dwp realise its harrasment. I am suppose to be out of the country more than in uk. I wish and hope it got better weather than here. I don't even have a passport. :j
