ParkingEye Help! Parking Charging Notice

2

Comments

  • I made mistake because I select option 'not driver'. I never had notice and anything similar before. I can blame my English as main reason. But it gone to far. They have 28 days to reply for an appeal, (after 28 days charge increase to 100), and I think they will wait until that day to replay with rejection.. and then I have to paid 100.
What if I will take responsibility for that charge as a keeper but I will say it is rediciolus amount and I'll offer Pay just e.g. £10? It is a chance they can deal with me?

    No they have 35 days.
and then I have to paid 100.
No, you do not 'have to pay'. POPLA stage is next!

No, not a chance. But you could send PE (NOT BY POST) copies of receipts from the Range, that might make them cancel if they see you are a regular customer, or spent over £30 that day.

OK so forget that and wait for the POPLA code, and read all the millions of POPLA appeals here. Be prepared.
I stayed on car park longer for 1 hour and 6 minutes
What does the back of the letter (PCN) say the 'contravention' was?

And does the back have a paragraph in the middle about the POFA 2012?

all you can do now is wait for their reply within 35 days of the appeal

if you can get THE RANGE to cancel this pcn, even better, but I doubt it judging on previous RANGE issues on here over the years I have been here

read the signs and comply in future, or this will happen again, and again , and again
  • I can go to Range today later on and explain what's happened, but I don't have proof I was customer. If I will be honest and tell manager true. That I was not shopping will he still be able to help me? We were in store CCTV record me for sure but I don't buy anything.
What if I lie and said I was customer and don't have receipt and paid by cash. Will they investigate that?
