Thanks a lot for your responses. Apologies if my question has already been answered in the newbies thread, I’ve just got a lot going on and the scare of receiving a request of £500 payment doesn’t help. Will it not go against me if we get to the court stage that I didn’t appeal to IAS?0

No, it will not. Will it not go against me if we get to the court stage that I didn’t appeal to IAS?
What might be more harmful would be the Claimant waving a piece of paper in the air shouting "Look Your Honour, The Independent Appeals Service agrees with us and refused the Defendant's appeal".0 -

No. If that was a worry, the NEWBIES thread would not tell people to avoid IAS. WE REALLY DO KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING!
In fact we have example defences that put a positive spin on why the poor victim swerved the IAS due to it being a well-known kangaroo court, even outed in Parliament in February! conflict of interests with Gladstones solicitors, etc. Search the forum for Hurley defence as suggested keywords (THIS forum only, and show results as POSTS, using 'ADVANCED SEARCH').
Stop worrying, these cases are won at court stage.
We see a consistent 99% win rate, and no risk at all, no CCJ, no huge cost for the odd case lost. Well worth fighting!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hardly, the IPC is a scam set up by the incompetent Gladstones Solicitors. Government already know about the scam as do the courts
The only people who don't know about the scam seems to be the SRA .... Solicitors Regulation Authority.
They have been told many many times about Gladstones but appear to approve their scam ....... So much for the SRA... waste of time0
