No Duty Free Alcohol allowed on board with Ryanair??

Really don't see the point in buying "duty free" at airports before flying to the likes of Spain, Greece and Portugal as it will always be cheaper in local supermarkets on arrival.
I'm all for a crackdown on bad behaviour but making airports alcohol free zones would be going to far. There's nothing wrong with a beer or two at Stupid O'Clock in the morning if you know how to drink and act responsibly0 -

However, in the real world, no steward/stewardess would agree to serve a customer their own self sourced alcohol.
Seems an American carrier, JetBlue will though.
On vietjet flights they even offer you glasses and ice:beer:"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -
No need to close airport bars - just have civilised opening hours in the morning.I'm all for a crackdown on bad behaviour but making airports alcohol free zones would be going to far.
Unfortunately some people haven't mastered that - as evidenced mainly on early morning flights, which is why Jet2 don't serve alcohol then. There's nothing wrong with a beer or two at Stupid O'Clock in the morning if you know how to drink and act responsibly
Does anybody really "need" a drink at 6am ?0 -
Does anyone really "need" a drink at 6pm either?NoodleDoodleMan wrote: »No need to close airport bars - just have civilised opening hours in the morning.

The few shouldn't ruin it for the majority. Thankfully I always book the airport lounge and just chuck about 6/7 bottles down my throat in there instead, away from the riff-raff.0 -

The only thing I "need" at 6am is to be back in my bed but if I am awake and at an airport, then why not? A couple of drinks and I will likely sleep on the flight. If I have coffee I certainly won't.0
