Maybe it was customer feedback and they've re-used the wrapper...:rotfl::rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0

McDonald's staff are seldom 'Future Achievers'......0

I know that it must be a pain in the bum to have to deal with the fallout of questions from your little one, but at some point in the future, I hope you find it funny as it is such an odd thing to discover!
I once had a £20 note which had written on it 'I used this note to buy XXXX' (Insert name of well-known adult publication). I thought it was quite amusing, but I am glad I was the only one who saw it, as if I had had to explain it to a little one it would have been a nightmare! I just wonder what prompts these people to place this little window into their world in the public domain! I suppose whoever was responsible thought nobody would notice - I wonder how many other people had little obscene notes and didn't pay as much attention as your son?!
Let us know the response from McDonalds - I love the idea of an officially worded letter including a direct quote from the wrapper....0 -
I'm impressed a 5 year old could read it!0

That's certainly not the sort of thing I would want any child of mine to experience in a family-orientated "restaurant" (I use the term loosly) but really, I don't see the need for some "worthy compo" . Surely a very big apology and a refund at the most is good enough. Whilst it was a very unfortunate event that should not have happened, don't blow it out of all proportion. Your little boy will hear much, much worse in school !
By the way, they don't use lead in pencils, it's graphite.0 -
In fairness, the OP hasn't mentioned compo - another poster didGwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

he's almost 6 and in year 1 so is a strong reader, and I would hope that at hes age those sorts of words would not be used in infant schools they certainly are not used at my sons school. I never asked for compo! I am angry that this has happened and feel it needs to be delt with strongly. sad to see that it is something some people feel we should just except and get on with it!! what is the world coming to!£2 saver club started 20th Oct £54:j0
