A year on and the battery needing replacing in the fob and my stepdad has recently had a pacemaker fitted. When looking in the manual about replacing the battery, it states in bold letters that keyless cars can affect a pacemaker! This information was neither given by the dealership nor were they even aware of this when asked! Can we get the dealership to replace the car as this was a misleading sale as vitasl information was not given.

Were you not told what can affect a pacemaker by the doctors or hospital ?
Can't see how you would have a claim against the dealership as the pacemaker wasn't fitted when the car was bought.0 -
Pacemaker driver needs some sort of work around or find out more regarding keyless ignition jumpstarting his pacemaker .
DVLA will require reporting of fitting pacemaker and also check car insurance .0 -
