CCJ for parking ticket

Why do you think they should have cared some? You do realise they are not there to help you, or look after your interests?
You need to get over that hurdle first so you can deal with this. I'm afraid that well gone are the days when everyone felt an entitlement to park wherever they wanted - and get away with it with impunity.
Did you read the signs at the parking location? What did they say?
While I may seem hopelessly naive in my approach, I have actually put some thought into it. Treating UK CPM as if I expect the company to be both fair and rational may not be helping in the appeals process, but I am thinking ahead to the only process that will actually count if the matter is taken to its logical conclusion by the company; the courts. I have been to court twice before, both times in circumstances not dissimilar to this one. In both cases the action was initiated by an institution like CPM. Which is to say, both were cash-harvesting exercises playing a numbers game with little actual attention to the details of individual cases. It took me about 10 minutes to have each case dismissed and the right of appeal denied. CPM's summary dismissal of my first appeal, and the very likely possibility that the IAS will do the same, are both valuable examples of the point and will serve to make that clear to whoever may end up adjudicating in the matter.
If the IAS dismiss the appeal and the matter is passed on to Gladstone, the nefarious relationship between these two institutions will make the point even more clear.
And there are also legal errors that CPM has already made. The picture they provide as evidence that their sign was in plain sight (a picture showing both the vehicle and the sign) is actually behind a wall in a place I did not and would never have seen. This is easy to prove.
In addition, we actually saw the person who put the ticket on the van and spoke to him. As we were moving out of the property, we were up and down constantly, and he appeared out of nowhere as we returned to place some more stuff in the van. He had already issued the ticket, but instead of telling us this, he said we should leave the doors of the van open even when not in attendance so he and his colleagues could see we were moving. This is both an absurd request as the van contained several thousand Pounds worth of electrical goods, and an admission by a representative of the company that the reason we were parked there in the first place was valid in his opinion.
Then there is the premium rate phone number on their sign. I have a recording of a call made to the number that is on hold for almost five minutes. And I have a entry on my phone bill showing that it cost me almost £3 to make the call.
My point is; if this goes to court I am ready.0 -

As expected, the IAS have turned down my appeal.0

It is up to the residents of the block to persuade the managing agents to get rid of these pests. If everyone refused to pay the service charges until they were sacked the MA might take notice, unless of course they are an HA, who seem to love these scammers. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
