About 25 years ago, a neighbour, fortunately not next door, casually mentioned he was getting a shed for his model railway set. I didn't think any more about it until the 30' 'thing' arrived and trees were felled to make room for it.
After that, every Tuesday evening, nerdy men in raincoats descended on our cul-de-sac, furtively clutching their Hornby Dublos......
